Petros Tonic Chibaka is a Nurse midwife, registered with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi. He has obtained a Diploma in Nursing and Midwifery Technician at Mulanje Mission College of Nursing and Midwifery. He has previously worked as a Nurse midwife at Zomba Central Hospital in Obstetric and Gynaecological wards, Nursery ward as well as on the Labor ward. Previously, he has also worked as an intern research Nurse with Training and Research Unit of Excellence.

In the IMPALA project, he will work as a Research Nurse at the Zomba Central Hospital study site.
