I find the intersection between ethics and the use of data most interesting. In a world greatly driven by digitalisation and new technologies, often we find challenging to align this technological developments with our societies (rights, interests and values). Developing new technologies with ethics side-by-side can offer much better opportunities to be successful, it gives us the chance to think ahead and to design responsibly and meaningfully. This is my main role working in the IMPALA project.

I am currently a postdoc at the National eHealth Living Lab (NeLL, LUMC) and I am assistant at the Bioethics and Law Observatory of the University of Barcelona. My background is a combination of biotechnology and biomedical sciences, and bioethics and Law; which I have carried out in the Netherlands, the UK, Spain and Costa Rica.
