Margret Havara is a laboratory technician responsible for the day to day laboratory management ensuring adherence to defined laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times at IMPALA project.

Margret holds bachelors degree in Industrial Laboratory Technology and she worked with Pharmanova (Pharmaceutical) company as a quality control analyst for a year.

After that she joined Kamuzu University of Health Sciences (KUHES) as laboratory technician intern under Malawi government internship program.

Margret is committed to the field of research and with great passion to pursue a career as a biomedical researcher in laboratory medicine. Margret is inspired to attain masters in biomedical sciences in the next 2-3 years and PhD within the next 9 years. She has the long term goal to lead a laboratory research team in Malawi.

Margret Havara believes that a better tomorrow is possible through hard work. In her spare time, Margret enjoys cooking and singing in her free time.
