Forgiveness Mhone, comes from Nkhata Bay and currently lives in Zomba. She holds a Public Health Degree from the University of Livingstonia. In addition she holds a diploma for nursing and midwifery from St John's college of health sciences. She has extensive experience as a nurse midwife, research nurse and public health officer. Among other organisations, she has worked for the Ministry of Health, World Vision, ICAP for global health at Columbia University and Nkhata Bay district hospital.

Within the IMPALA project, she will work as a research Nurse at Zomba Central Hospital, recruiting participants into the study, collecting data and providing holistic care to study participants..
